We will offer two live product demos during M&M. Sign up is required to attend, so drop by our booth the Monday and Tuesday demo times (4pm) to sign up.

Environmental gas cell in-situ TEM: possibilities and use aspects – a live demo
Monday and Tuesday – 4pm – JEOL Booth #708 (at the TEM)

During this demo, we will discuss practical aspects of performing environmental gas cell for in-situ TEM experiments. Ease of use, imaging conditions and interpreting the acquired data in these types of in-situ experiments will be discussed. We will also show examples of the equipment at work, focusing on oxidation and reduction experiments. Note that this demo will be conducted in the JEOL booth #708. About this holder

Hummingbird Scientific Tutorials
This year we will offer one free vendor tutorials, space is limited so make sure to sign up early at the MSA Megabooth – or drop by our booth.
In-situ liquid electrochemistry: cross-platform microscopy and sample geometries

Wednesday August 9th · 5:45pm · Hummingbird Scientific Booth #830

In this tutorial, we will demonstrate tools that allows correlative approach to perform electrochemistry in a cross-platform microscopy using TEM and X-ray.  Specifically, we will demonstrate the recent development in our liquid cell holder platform and cell geometries that presents flexibility in performing a wide range of in-situ electrochemical experiments. We will specifically address the practical aspects of setting up the electrical part of your electrochemical experiment.  Some other examples shown will include, but are not limited, to performing elemental analysis such as X-ray spectroscopy (EDX) and electron energy loss spectroscopy (EELS) in liquid.  About this holder
