PRESENTATIONS

Poster Presentation: Functionalized Surfaces to Improve Imaging Conditions in Liquid Cell Transmission Electron Microscopy · Mon. Aug. 4, 3:30pm · Exhibit Hall AB

In partnership with Dune Sciences and the University of Oregon, Hummingbird Scientific will present a study of surface functionalization of the electron transparent membrane and its effects on nanoparticle imaging conditions in liquid cell TEM.

Tutorial: Advances in In-Situ Liquid Cell TEM · Tue. Aug. 5, 5:30pm · Booth 1130

In this tutorial, we will review the field and future of liquid cell TEM using research examples from electrochemistry, biology, and nano-scale materials synthesis. We will highlight the role of Hummingbird Scientific’s in-situ TEM holders in the development of this technique.

Please register in advance at the vendor tutorial registration booth.

Tutorial: In-Situ TEM under Atmospheric Pressure · Wed. Aug. 6, 5:30pm · Booth 1130

This tutorial will focus on Hummingbird Scientific’s windowed gas flow cell TEM holder, which allows researchers to study materials under realistic gas reaction conditions. We will focus on resolution, spectroscopic data collection, and imaging at elevated temperatures.

Please register in advance at the vendor tutorial registration booth.
